Yea Noor’s Journey to Motherhood — Made easy with Spreeha
Yea Noor with her adorable cat-baby in her community
Yea Noor, a 28-year-old woman from a modest neighborhood in Dhaka, has faced many struggles in life. After her father passed away during her childhood, her family’s world turned upside down. As the younger of two sisters, she watched her mother and elder sister work hard to keep the family going. Wanting to contribute, Yea Noor joined a garment factory at a young age to help support their household.
She later got married to a rickshaw puller, a kind-hearted man, like her, believed in building a better life through hard work. Their bond was strong, and they shared the same dream: to start a family of their own. But that dream turned into a 12-year-long struggle with infertility, emotional pain, and countless failed attempts.
After more than a decade of saving money and seeking medical help when they could afford it, Yea Noor finally conceived. It was a moment of pure joy; one they had waited for with equal parts hope and heartbreak. However, joy was quickly followed by fear. How would she access the right pregnancy care? Where could she find reliable support that was affordable, accessible, and compassionate? That’s when she discovered Sneho Urgent Healthcare Centre, located just a few minutes from her home.
From the very first day, Yea Noor felt a sense of relief. The environment was welcoming, the staff warm and respectful, and the services designed to meet the needs of mothers like her. Sneho provided her with everything she needed during this critical time — regular antenatal check-ups, blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring, guidance on nutrition, supplements, and referrals for essential tests like ultrasounds. What made the biggest difference for Yea Noor was the way she was treated. Every healthcare professional at Sneho took the time to listen, explain, and reassure her. She didn’t feel rushed or ignored, like she often did at overcrowded public hospitals. Instead, she felt valued, understood, and supported throughout every stage of her pregnancy.
Now, in her eighth month, Yea Noor is healthy, hopeful, and preparing to welcome her long-awaited child.
Yea Noor says,
Spreeha Urgent Healthcare Centre didn’t just take care of my pregnancy — they took care of me as a person. They gave me peace of mind, right within my own community.
For Yea Noor and many women like her, Spreeha is more than a healthcare center — it’s a place of trust, care, and dignity. It’s where hope becomes health, and dreams become reality.
