Help Fight COVID-19
Members of the communities we serve are very vulnerable to coronavirus because they live in heavily crowded urban slums. Their livelihood is also directly affected as most of them are daily wage earners. Our team consisting of doctors, medical professionals and health workers are serving the community members as follows:
Food supply:
Most of the underprivileged people depends on daily income, as a result home quarantine is difficult. Food supply for few days can mitigate this challenge and can limit the chance of community transmission of coronavirus.Hygiene materials:
Good hygiene practice and hand washing can prevent coronavirus transmission. Due to current financial constrain underprivileged people are ignoring the importance of hygiene and as a result risk of contamination is getting higher.Essential drugs:
Currently flu like symptoms cold, cough and fever are at highest pick and common drugs supply can reduce people`s movement.Door to door awareness and counselling:
Community workers create awareness about what is coronavirus, how to prevent it, what to do if you have flu like symptoms and encourage for online doctor consultation rather than go to healthcare center.Online doctor helpline:
A pool of doctors will provide free consultation upon maternal & child health, primary healthcare and counseling for COVID-19.
